Thorny Rock is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Taking damage causes Golem to create a radial rock shockwave, each shockwave dealing 10 damage to enemies and breaking Rocks.

Interactions

• Dull Razor: Will not trigger the shockwave.
• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: The range of the radial rock shockwave is affected by trinket multipliers. No effect on the damage of the shockwaves.
• Golem + Smelter: With a multiplier of < 1, the shockwave will only have a chance to trigger when taking damage, with the chance being equal to the multiplier (ie. a 66% chance without any other trinket multiplier-affecting items).
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Thorny Rock rerolls it into Mineral Rock.

Trivia

• Thorny Rock is a reference to the charm Thorns of Agony from the game Hollow Knight, with Thorny Rock's appearance and effect being similar to the charm and its ability.
